A word or two of caution for those about to knit the Mariah sleeve. I've been reading the messages in the Mariah-along and I did a little bit of googling and quite a few folks have missed that the increases for the sleeve shaping start when you hit the six inch mark. The way the pattern is written details how many times to repeat the charts and then afterwards tells you to start increasing when you're six inches along. Lord knows I noticed a bit late too and had to rip back. I was lucky, I only had to rip back an inch or so, but be warned. Folks have knit the entire sleeve and THEN noticed. ugh!
Wow, that yarn you're using really shows off the cables well. I can't wait to see the finished product!

The Autumn silk cardigan pattern I'm working on has the same sort of instructions. You don't realize that two things are supposed to happen concurrently until after the fact.
Thanks for the Wavy chart!
It's snowing again in Vancouver.

That is, like, an AMAZING pattern. Just thinking about trying to do something like that (without messing up) makes my brain hurt. You're amazing! Can't wait to see the end result.

Thanks so much for the info on the sleeve. I'm gonna have to rip a few rows. Thankfully, I looked at your blog! Otherwise I would have been knitting away & not known.
Your sleeve looks great! Love the color!
