It's chilly here in Austin. Temps are hovering around freezing believe it or not. Rumours abound that we may even have a white Christmas! There hasn't been a white christmas in Austin since before they started keeping records in 1926. As I've mentioned before, Austinites don't really know how to deal with the cooler weather, so signs like these are popping up everywhere. I think it's cute.
No better time than now to finish the Knitty Wavy scarf. I finished it up just after SnB Tuesday night and I wore it out on the town yesterday. The Silk Garden is scratchy, but I know it'll soften up with a bath. If I knit it again, I'll decrease the number of cast on stitches by 12, but that's just me. I like a skinnier scarf, although I love that this one hides the double chin that magically appears in all my photos. All in all it took 2.5 skeins of #84. A little expensive, but totally worth it.
The inlaws arrived the other night and we're on our way to the airport to pick up Mum right now. Hope y'all have a great holiday!
I love your scarf! I have 2 balls left from my Klaralund in that colorway. Maybe I'll make one!

Brillian scarf. That is so wild. I just finished a Farrow Rib scarf in Silk Garden #34 (also hankering for #88, I know it's an addiction) but the wavy pattern is lovely.
Happy Holidays

Wavy looks just awesome. Mine is growing, too. Have a very happy and merry Christmas. We won't have a white Christmas up here in the Lower Mainland.

Your scarf looks great. I'm using that same colorway in something right now, love it! Did you end up with a White Christmas? We had one here in Houston!
